Kindergarten Standards-Based Basic Print Program
The Kindergarten Standards-Based Basic Program, which consists of all four kindergarten units, is carefully designed to teach every kindergarten standard to a wide range of student populations, regardless of learning style. These foundational units for the kindergarten program utilize the well-known TouchMath TouchPoint procedures along with a wide variety of well-accepted approaches to basic math skills.
Kindergarten teachers keep us mindful that they need current and positive ways to reach and teach every youngster. The Kindergarten Standards-Based Basic Program is carefully designed to teach every kindergarten standard to a wide range of student populations, regardless of learning style. Use it as a core or supplemental program in your mainstreamed and/or inclusive classroom, or use it as a complete program in your special education and/or resource room. While following stringent scaffolded presentations, the materials seamlessly progress from concrete to representational to abstract (C-R-A), ensuring success at every step. The TouchMath TouchPoint approach weaves through the materials and is combined with other traditional approaches.
The Kindergarten Standards-Based Basic Program includes 661 multisensory activity masters paired with day-by-day teacher guides — all uniquely coordinated and designed to give your learners a head start. Let the inspiration begin!
Spiral-bound teacher guides are packed with day-by-day multisensory guided practice, discussion/demonstration points, and C-R-A sequencing. As your guide through the standards, the teacher guides provide a precise scope and sequence, progress monitoring, scripts for instructional strategies, suggestions for remediation/reinforcement, vocabulary words, student engagement techniques, testing materials, and real-world connections.
